GOODBYE TO ALL THAT

This book is printed using a risograph, and a variety of images from the NYC Street Photography collective. As well as the essay “Goodbye to All That,” written by Joan Didion.
“Goodbye to All That” is a reflective essay about her experience as a young woman living in New York City, initially captivated by its energy but gradually disillusioned by its harsh realities. Ultimately, Didion bids farewell to the city, marking the end of a chapter in her life and the loss of an idealized vision of youth and ambition.
