Sundance

Sundance Film Festival, held each year in Park City, Utah is an annual film festival organized by the Sundance Institute. It is the largest independent film festival in the United States, with more than 46,660 attending in 2016. I wanted to keep things sleek, and simple but still bold, the black behind the pink, green, and green helps them pop. For this project, I started with the logo and was inspired by rays, and the projection of films as well. My first logo has all the necessary information, but I also wanted to create a secondary logo that was simpler. I also created a moving poster, where the rays spin in the back, similar to how the film reel spins while in action.
